This digital course pack contains a series of selected readings on Music Appreciation with links to online musical examples in a highly-accessible format that is designed to be easily readable on any smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer
that is capable of reading PDF files.

The course pack also contains a series of
15 very short quiz questions (or “Quizlets”)
that verify that you have completed the readings.
All 15 Quizlets together are worth
a total of 8% of your Final Grade.

To access the course pack for your
online Music Appreciation course,
you need to do the following:

Following the link below to the Course Pack website, select the SECTION of online Music Appreciation
in which you are enrolled.
Please Note: in order to receive credit for completing the readings,
you must register for the correct SECTION of online Music Appreciation
in which you are enrolled at Rowan University.

STEP 1 – Create Your Account
When you finish reading all of the instructions on this page, you should click the link below to access the course pack registration page. You should then select your section of the course and then you’ll be taken to a detailed listing of your course section.

From there, click the green text that says “Login to the site.” On the next page, instead of logging in, choose “Create new account” on the right side of the page.

Step 2. On the next page, enter a username, password, your Rowan email address, first name, surname, (surname = last name) city and country. Please do not use a nickname,
because your instructor may not recognize it and your Course Pack grades won’t be recognized.

Step 3. After you register, an email message will be sent to the email address you provided.
(This message may take as long as 15 minutes or more to be received.)

The message contains a link to confirm your registration. Click on the link and you’ll be directed back
to the course pack site, MusicCoursesOnline.org.

PLEASE NOTE: Depending on how the privacy settings in your web browser and/or Rowan email account are set, the confirmation email may be blocked by the Rowan email system. If you followed the steps above and do not receive the confirmation email message after 15 minutes, please check your SPAM folder. If the confirmation message is not in your INBOX or SPAM folders, then please send a message to: support@coursepack.org
and we will manually confirm your account and send an email to let you know. Please DO NOT contact your instructor, as this will cause a delay in resolving your problem.
Please also note that depending upon the time of day that your message is sent,
it may take as long as 12 hours to manually confirm your account.

STEP 4. After your email has been confirmed, return to www.MusicCoursesOnline.org, and click “Courses” and you’ll return to the list of courses. Click on your Section again and you’ll be brought to the detailed view of your section. From here, click on the text button for “Send payment via PayPal.”
