Copied below is a link to an interview with Dr. Joseph Machlis (1906-1998) on the WOR-AM Radio program hosted by Arlene Francis, circa 1982.

This is the second of two interviews Dr. Machlis did with Arlene Francis in that period of time. It was recorded directly from the radio broadcast onto an audio cassette tape that is now decades old. But since I believe this is one of the few audio recordings of Joseph Machlis’ speaking voice available, it has great value – especially to his friends – despite the poor audio quality.
